CAROLINE'S GOLD AWARD PROJECT

On April 7th, 2009 high school senior Caroline McLaughlin donated handmade blankets to patients at Schnider Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Center. Caroline is a Girl Scout from Troop # 3057 in Kings Park, NY. She worked countless hours creating these beautiful blankets as part of her Girl Scout gold project.

Caroline learned about Breathe For Britt Foundation LTD. after she read an article about one of our fundraisers in Long Island's "Newsday" paper. She chose to team up with BFBF and donate her blankets to patients at the CF center. Thank you Caroline!!!

UPDATE: Congratulations Caroline!!!

On Monday June 15th 2009 Caroline received her Girl Scout Gold award. Caroline and her family invited Breathe for Britt and the CF Center staff to the award ceremony. An amazing scrapbook and poster were displayed at the ceremony with pictures and mementos documenting her project from beginning to end. We were thrilled to be able to celebrate with Caroline and congratulate her on her hard work, dedication and job well done! See the photo album for more pictures of the ceremony.
